A Predecessor object is a link in an ActiveGantt control that can show precedence of GanttItems or Milestones

See the GanttItem and Milestone object's Predecessor Property

Remarks:

Every GanttItem and Milestone object can have multiple Predecessor objects. Visual layout of the Predecessor object is controlled by the StyleIndex property. Linkage is controlled by the PredecessorKey and PredecessorType properties.
